Our little family in the great big state of Texas

Jacob is helping out too, as we prepare to move. He was delivering some flower pots and flowers we no longer need to a friend a few streets over. We are very happy to finally have a moving date, as well as a place to move to. As most of you know, we thought we were moving to Mannheim, but now we are moving to Corpus Christi, Texas. Surprise! Where we are and where we are going changes quickly around here, sometimes I can barely keep up. As you can imagine, things are in high gear here at our house, as we sort, pack and throw out things we've acquired over these past 3 1/2 years. We also had to do the last minute purchases of things we had to have before we left Germany. Jacob's was a Playmobil toy, Kenny's was a German made pocket knife. Mine was .... a mop. Yes, a mop. This is not just any mop, it is a fine example of German engineering designed to clean floors so they gleam. I am hoping our house in Texas will have lots of tile, not wall-to-wall carpet! That would certainly make my purchase seem rather silly. Perhaps you can come visit and admire my mop sometime.

FYI, our email will remain the same, and I hope to continue the blog. The name will have to change, obviously. But I imagine Texas will be quite the adventure too!
