misc.
So, I guess I have to go way back to start catching up on all we did the past month. Perhaps I will start with the more random things....
- I took Jacob and a friend to a puppet show in town a couple weeks ago. It was a traveling puppet show, and many of his friends from school were there. These are the wooden puppets and it was lots of fun. The kids thought it was great, they story was about the Robber Hotzenplotz who is a favorite character around here.
- They have been busy in the kindergarten with fall activities, they had a day similar to our Thanksgiving called "Erntedank". Also have been making things like potato soup and autumn soup, which the kids get to help with. Lots of fun stuff celebrating fall!
- The weather here has been very nice, not too cold yet. It seems to have turned over the past week, with frost each morning. We are enjoying the time outside before the real winter weather arrives.
- Jacob is going to be a pirate for Halloween, he dresses up in his costume almost every day. There is a picture of him in costume over on our photo site, where I have put a few new pictures from September.
So, that's about it for now. I'm working on my post from when Mom was here and our trip to Holland, and then there is Kay, Richard and Nancy's visit still. I'm still trying to get my pictures organized!
