Our little family in the great big state of Texas

It was so warm yesterday, and today feels even hotter. Oddly enough, the best way to keep our house cool is to open everything up at night, and then around 10 am close it all up. Blinds down and sealed up tight! It's not too bad, I just checked the thermometer in our bedroom, (upstairs so it is one of the hottest areas in the house) and it was 80 degrees. Our thermometer on the back porch shows 90 degrees! I was checking the forecast and it showed a warning for heat in our area, until tomorrow night. I guess it's so people know to be careful if they are out working or playing in the heat. We are planning to head to the schwimmbad to cool off this afternoon...
